Opinions on nose reshaping an dental surgery...Im wanting both, an was wondering about prices and effects???

Ive got a bump in my nose that pretty much became an obsession in my teens. I hate it! I had braces aged 14-16 but for some annoying reason (seein as i had the godawful things for 2yr) 1 of my 2 front teeth has gone backwards (its now 3-4 years since i had braces)....so it looks like my other 1 is sticking forward. Therefore i dont ever smile with my teeth....as me an my friends like to call it..."the brace smile"!

Im not an ugly girl, an i dont mean that to sound arrogant at all, but i would really feel alot more confident in myself if i had these two done. Im prepared to get a loan. And i know its alot of money but i definitly believe it will be worth it. I was wondering of roughs prices. I would like to make my smile wider an have veneers put in on my top teeth (as bottom ones are never really seen anyway)

Any help guys??? would be appreciated!

much love xx

The most common reason that most teeth move after braces is not wearing your retainer properly. Teeth have a memory and will move back where they were (crooked) if you didn't wear it well. Unfortunately, only about 25% of teenagers are good about wearing retainers. That's the reason that Invisalign was created--to repair orthodontic relapse. If your teeth were straight after your braces, then it isn't advisable to damage them with veneers or crowns, but to correct them again.

You should see an orthodontist to see if you are a candidate for Invisalign or if you need to go back into braces. We also suggest not having a nose job and braces at the same time. It's really too much trauma to the area. Your orthodontist probably works with a good maxillo-facial surgeon and can advise you better in this area.
