my dog underwent dental surgery and had 2 teeth removed. 2 days later he started to sneeze and has a runny nose. the vet gave him some AB but they dont seem to help.

I can see that.. The two are closely related ... When I have a tooth ache.. I sometimes also get a sinus headache.. I would say finish the antibiotic... If it seems to get worse call the vet and let him know you are happy with how he is coming along.
