Reply:Most dental offices do make payment arrangements through a service such as Care Credit or something else. If your dental office does not offer this then go online and apply to a dental credit company for a line of credit. Carefully read all of the clauses as these companies are notoriously rigid about their terms and penalties.

That having been said, get a second opinion. Always. Any dentists should be more than willing to provide you with copies of your xrays and treatment plan, at no charge, so that you can seek a second opinion. If your dentist is unwilling to do so then I, personally, would not be comfortable remaining in that practice.
Reply:just answered another question with something thatmay be of interest and value to you.

if you have the time and can find a school for dental hygienists in your area you may be able to sign up to be a patient. Everything is done under supervision. The hygienist will fist clean and look at your teeth and then a dentist will do the actual tooth repair work as she allows her dental assistant students to train for their future roles.

I did this years ago when i couldn't afford the work and the only thing is that it does take a lot of time each visit. It would be a few hours each time.

definitely worth it tho if you do have the time.
Reply:find a dentist that will put you on a reasonable payment plan--usually ask for 25%-50% up front
Reply:call 1-800-929-8344 Ref 246314 and all the dentists they refer you to are members of american dental association.
