Any idea for soft cold food for dental patient?

I just had dental surgery yesterday. I could only eat soft, cold, non-spicy food, preferably no meat.

I've been taken a lot of smoothies (Jumba Juice) blended with ice cream and yogurt and fruit but also concern with the calories intake.

Thank you.

how about cottage cheese with smushed up fruit on top

You could eat baby food too if you want to get away from sweet stuff

Or better yet..just use your blender and grind up any food you may feel like eating...

how about oatmeal

peanut butter on ice cream that is real good and has protein too..

Good luck..Hope you get to feel better soon.

Reply:Jello! Sugar free! Put some cool whip on top!

Guy below me, great idea! Avacados are great!
Reply:you should try avocados or guacamole, it packs a lot of vitamins and nutrients and is really good.
Reply:Jello
Reply:Pudding. Soft cereal. Some of those Ensure protien drinks.

You should be able to eat luke warm not hot food. I had pretty serious dental surgery and was able to eat scrambled eggs, soup, mashed potatos. You just have to let it cool off.
Reply:I lived off of jello, cottage cheese, pudding and mashed potatoes when I had all of my wisdom teeth out.
Reply:Pudding and jello work. If you like it cottage cheese works. I had a tooth pulled 2 weeks ago and was eating 2 hours later.
Reply:If you like rice that would be easy to eat. Maybe some warm mashed potatoes and gravy. Even mashed bananas. Hope you feel better soon. Good luck :)
