I had dental surgery in Germany which was terrible. I am UK resident. How can I sue the dentist?

I think ye should just chalk it up tae experience. Ye will probably spend arms and legs tryin' tae get any satisfaction, wi' nae guarantees o' sucess.

was it terrible as in sore or incompetent? Have you suffered any lasting injury?
Reply:Obviously he also gave you far too many drugs !!

Dream on.......................... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Reply:You can only sue if you can prove negligence. This can only be proven if you have had damage done to you. You would need a report from the dental surgeon in the UK who saw you and is sorting out your problems.

I would advise you to first contact the equivalent of the general dental council in Germany. They will advise you from there.

I will warn you though, it is very difficult to prove negligence. Most dental work causes pain but it is not negligence unless the dentist has failed in their duty of care and have caused injury.
