Do dental veeners hurt, preparation and surgery?

Honestly, its better you consult a specialist to find out what's best for you. I really want to help but I don't think I can give better answers than specialist do. Sorry.

good luck

Love is omnipresence, Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Do dental veeners hurt, preparation and surgery?
There is no surgery, and you're only anesthetized locally. The process of getting them on doesn't hurt a bit, it just takes a LONG time. Several hours. It will also be a month or two in total for the entire process.

1st visit -- take a mold of the way your teeth are now.

2nd visit -- shave down your teeth so that they are shorter and not as thick. During the period between this visit and the next, you might experience some sensitivity, but it won't be anything major. Just don't drink super cold liquids and you'll be fine.

3rd visit -- make sure the veneers are going to fit... if they don't, they must be re-ordered.

4th visit -- put on the veneers! Takes a long long time, but there isn't any pain.

It will take a while to get used to your new BIG teeth (they seem really big since your teeth will have been quite a bit smaller than normal for a while). They aren't actually bigger than normal, don't worry. Yay for pretty teeth!
